Three girls charged in Delaware school bathroom death

(The school of where the incident took place)

Three high school girls have been charged with the death of a 16 year old girl in a bathroom fight last month. One girl was charged with criminally negligent homicide and the two others were charged with criminal conspiracy. Allegedly, the fight happened because a boy that one of the girls liked liked Amy, the assaulted girl and him and her had been talking. The suspect was jealous about that and wanted to fight Amy. While in the washroom, the girls confronted Amy which lead to a fight between Amy and the suspect when the suspects friends started jumping in. Amy hit her head on the sink and was knocked unconscious. After the incident students aid that they saw a lot of blood in the washroom. One police officer said that Amy's chest was caved in so bad. Amy died from sudden cardiac death, the medical examiner's said. Amy had a pre-existing heart condition but officials said "the cardiac incident would not have occurred is she had not been assaulted. People who attend the school and parents are still shocked by this incident.

Me being a 16 year old in high school im shocked. In my opinion it should never be that serious to fight a girl over a boy. This just shows not even in schools are people safe. Parents shouldnt have to worry about if there child is safe or not during school hours. The girls that did that are just ruthless.  R.I.P Amy <3

27 People Killed on Strike in Syrian Hospital

An airstrike on a pediatric hospital in Syria killed 27 people, including children, rights groups say, as the U.N. warns that a nationwide "cessation of hostilities" is under serious threat of collapse. The U.N. special envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, warned at a news conference in Geneva Thursday that a humanitarian disaster was unfolding in Syria with increased fighting in Aleppo and three other locations. Al Quds field hospital, situated in a rebel-held neighborhood in Aleppo, was hit by a missile from a fighter jet Wednesday, witnesses said. It's unclear for which side in the conflict the fighter jet was flying.
At least 148 civilians have been killed in Aleppo in the past six days, according to the Observatory."In the last 48 hours, we have had an average of one Syrian killed every 25 minutes, one Syrian wounded every 13 minutes," he said. Jan Egeland, chair of the U.N. task force on humanitarian access in Syria, said that there had been a "catastrophic deterioration" in Aleppo and parts of Homs over the past day or two. He said that if strikes continued, the U.N. would not be able to carry out a planned delivery of aid to 35 besieged locations.

4 Kids Shot on the West Side of Chicago in the Austin Area

(The scene where four boys were shot)

Four boys were shot while they walked down the street on the West Side of Chicago, Monday night, in the Austin area. The shootings happened around 9 p.m. when an unknown man approached the boys and started shooting. The boys ages 12, 14, 14 and 16 were all in stable condition at a local hospital. No arrest have been made, but an investigation is ongoing.

Being from the west side myself, this is terrible news to hear. It makes me think concerned about my own safety when I go to other places. Chicago isnt safe for anyone anymore. Kids cants even be outside and hang out without something bad happening. I wish it would get better soon, but i know its not. This are my opinions about this situation. How about you???

Drew Petterson

Drew Petterson (mugshot)

On October 28, 2007, Drew Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, had gone missing. She was supposed to go to her sister's place to help do some painting that day, but she never showed up. Drew Peterson said that he received a phone call from his wife that night, claiming that she had left him for another man. Her family reported her missing, saying that Stacy would never have abandoned her two children. Friends also said that Stacy had been preparing to leave her husband. Authorities and volunteers conducted an extensive search, but they found no trace of Stacy Peterson. Meanwhile, Drew Peterson quickly became a suspect in the case. He seemed unconcerned about his wife's disappearance, joking around with the media and making remarks about Stacy. Stacy's body still hasnt been found til this day.
